Musselfeed was founded in 2013 by Dr. Odd Lindahl, a leading researcher in large-scale marine mussel farming for environmental purposes. He was among the pioneers advocating for Marine Nutrient Emission Trading through mussel cultivation and harvesting.

We receive raw mussels – any size, any shell shape – as long as they are fresh. Our process is compatible with all mussel types, which reduces waste and increases sourcing flexibility.

The mussels are carefully crushed to begin the separation process.

Separation Without Cooking
Through our unique, additive-free process, the mussel transitions into a liquid state without the use of enzymes, acids, or alkaline agents. This naturally separates the meat from the shells.
